Resumen.
Friedrich Engels, al referirse al
pensamiento social de Saint-Simon, lo
caracteriza como utópico. Pero no se
trata de una utopía como evasión, sino
más bien de un proyecto de denuncia y
de reconstrucción social, política y
económica. La humanidad nueva, el
nuevo cristianismo y el nuevo sistema
social de Saint-Simon, forman parte de
un proyecto que incluye a trabajadores
y hombres de ciencia, a quienes
concede un papel protagónico. Sin
embargo, a pesar de este notable aporte
a las ciencias sociales en sus inicios,
nos preguntamos: ¿Podemos reducir la
política a un asunto de gestión y
presupuesto? ¿Se puede confiar el
gobierno solamente a los hombres de
ciencia? ¿Cuál es el futuro del Estado?
¿Cuáles son las utopías (objetivos)
necesarias para el mundo de hoy?

Abstract.
Friedrich Engels, when referring
to Saint-Simón's social thought, it
characterizes as utopian. But it is not
an utopia like escape, rather a project
of denunciation and social, political
and economic reconstruction. The new
humanity, the new Christianity and
Saint-Simón's new social system, are
part of a project that includes workers
and scientists, who gives a leading
role. However, in spite of this notable
contribution to the social sciences in
their beginnings, we ask: Can we
reduce the politics to an administration
matter and budget? Can the
government only trust in the scientists?
Which is the future of the State? Which
are the utopias (objectives) necessary
for today's world?
